We are delighted to inform you that Team Signpost raised £11,541.79 for Signpost International on Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk 2021!!
This figure includes all donations made online, donations sent to the office, the 50% boost from the Hunter Foundation and Gift Aid. We are absolutely delighted with this total and this will allow Signpost International to continue our work as we strive for an equitable world where poverty and injustice are eliminated, people thrive and communities flourish. This amazing total has been achieved thanks to your incredible fundraising efforts.
Before the Kiltwalk weekend began we set ourselves the target of completing 255km together as Team Signpost. We picked 255km as last year through our farmer training groups in Uganda, farmers grew enough bananas to stretch from Inverness to Edinburgh, 255km. We are delighted to let you know that together as Team Signpost we completed the 255km Banana Challenge! But we did not only complete the 255km Banana Challenge, Team Signpost smashed that challenge and over the Kiltwalk weekend walked 500km together!!
