Did you know that a Will is the only way to guarantee that your estate is distributed as you wish, and helps avoid expensive inheritance tax duties?
Each year in September, Will Relief offers you the chance to have your will drawn up professionally by a participating Scottish solicitor who has generously agreed to provide their time and expertise free of charge.
Instead of paying for your Will, you will be asked to make a donation to Will Relief Scotland, a group of four Scottish Christian charities working with people from some of the world’s poorest communities.
Signpost International are one of the charities that make up Will Relief Scotland along with Blythswood Care, EMMS International and MAF.
Did you know that half of Scots have no Will? According to research by unbiased.co.uk 63 percent of Scots have not made a Will, meaning they have no say in who their assets will be passed on to when they die.
If you are one of the 63% who do not have a Will, why not take part in Will Relief Scotland?
By making or altering your Will this September you will be completing an important piece of paperwork but you will again be helping those experiencing poverty.
Will Relief Scotland begins next week so get in touch today with your nearest participating solicitors and book your appointment.
