Last week Signpost International were delighted to welcome the Green Bean Co., to the Signpost Centre. The Green Bean Co. a Young Enterprise Team from Grove Academy have been raising money for Signpost International throughout the year. They have done this by selling Coffee gift sets and coffee scented candles. The Green Bean Co. were the winners of the Tayside Young Enterprise Company of the year and came second in the Scottish finals. The group made up of 5, 6th year girls from Grove Academy came to the Signpost centre to present Signpost CEO, Jamie Morrison, with a cheque for £1000.08. Jamie said, ‘I’m very impressed with the amount of money The Green Bean Co. raised and that they are willing to donate it to Signpost. Through our Centre for Global Learning we hope that many more people will learn the importance of living in an interconnected world and both the privileges and responsibilities that come from living in the UK’. Signpost International would like to thank the Green Bean Co. for all the money they have raised and wish the members all the best for the future as they leave school.
